Short version: WooCommerce has no monthly platform fee and full ownership (best for most Indian sellers starting out); Shopify costs ~₹2,000+/month but is easier to run without any technical comfort. We recommend based on your catalogue and comfort, not our convenience.
What are the ongoing costs after ₹15,000?
For WooCommerce: domain + decent hosting (~₹4,000–₹6,000/year) and payment gateway fees (~2% per transaction, charged by Razorpay etc.). That’s it. We list every recurring cost in writing before you commit.
Can customers pay by UPI?
